Citronella is a grass native to southern India and Sri Lanka, widely cultivated in Southeast Asia and Latin America. It is a plant up to a meter and a half tall, with rigid, glaucous green leaves.
The intense lemony aroma of citronella fully justifies the name by which this plant is known. It is commonly used to repel mosquitoes and is used as an industrial insecticide.
Natural insecticide against mosquitoes, both to prevent bites and to disinfect them.
Analgesic.
It fights skin problems such as juvenile acne and hyper sweating.
Relieves headaches.
Improves concentration.
For headaches and migraines, use 2-3 drops in a cold compress.
As a moth repellent, add a few drops to a cotton ball and place it in the closet.
As an insect repellent, use a few drops in a spray or diffuser.
