YLANG YLANG, Cananga odorata
It is a fast-growing tree, reaching twelve meters in its humid jungle habitat. The leaves are long, smooth and splendid. The flower is greenish-yellowish and rarely pink, it curls like a starfish.
Ylang Ylang means "flower of flowers" in Malay. This same one has a sweet and soft fragrance of flowers that is very romantic. In Indonesia, the petals are often strewn on the bridal bed on the wedding night.
